House. Early C19. Coursed dressed limestone; brick outbuilding: pantile
roof. Central stairhall plan, one room deep, with service 'wing and lean-to
outbuilding at rear. 2-storey, symmetrical 3-window front. Central. 4-panel
door under rectangular divided fanlight. Central 4-panel door under
rectangular divided fanlight. 16-pane sashes with stone sills throughout.
All openings have heavy milled lintels. Coped Gables and shrive(I kneelers;
end stacks. Interior: closed string staircase with a turned newel,stick
balusters and a moulded handrail. In ground floor room to right are
cupboard recesses in squared, reeded architraves with lozenge paterae. In
both ground floor rooms panelled shutters survive.
