Lodge. 1895 on rainwaterhead; C20 extension. By Walter Brierley, for Mr J
Shaw. Hammer-dressed limestone; ashlar dressings and stacks; stone tile
roof. Domestic Revival Style. 2-storeys; irregular fenestration. Tudor-
arched doorway with boarded door in left return wall of single-storey gabled
porch. Gable end to left is castellated and canted, and contains a 6-light
mullion ground floor window. Four light mullion window above. All windows
have chamfered mullions and square pined leaded lights. All openings have
flat quoined jambs. coped gables to steeply-pitched roof with overhanging,
bracketted eaves. Two tall stepped and shouldered stacks with shaped caps.
