4/108 Methodist Chapel


Primitive Methodist Chapel. 1819 on lintel, but with earlier origins.
Coursed rubble limestone; pantile roof. Rectangular on plan. Single
storey: 4-bays Irregular quoins. 4-panel door to left of centre. 16-pane
sash with a stone sill to left of door: two similar windows to right. All
openings have heavy, milled lintels. The lintel to door has a recessed oval
panel inscribed: "Erected by Subscriptions AD 1819".
