barn

GV II

House and later barn. Mid-late C18. Limestone brought to course, French
tiles to house, pantiles to barn. 2-cell house formerly with gable-entry,
now with passage entry through adjacent barn. 2 storeys, 2 first floor
windows to house, single storey barn. 3-light Yorkshire sashes with fire
window to right. 6-panel door to left end of barn with one 2-light
Yorkshire sash and one fixed window to right. First floor: 3-light
Yorkshire sashes. Flat arches throughout. Sprocketed eaves, gable coping,
shaped kneelers, end stacks to house. Interior: stone heck to sitting room.
Chamfered ceiling beams to both main rooms.
