Farmhouse. 1799 on tie rods, with Cl9 alteration. Red brick in Flemish
bond, with pantile roof and rebuilt brick stacks. Central-stairhall plan,
1½ rooms deep. 2-storey, 3-window front. Door of 6 recessed panels with
fanlight, beneath round arch. 4-pane sashes with stone sills and wedge
lintels throughout. Raised first-floor band. Coped gables and shaped
kneelers. End stacks. Left gable wall: the initials RIWG shaped by the tie
rod ends. Right gable wall: the date 1799 shaped by the tie rod ends.
