House of 2 builds. Mid - late C18 and 1867 on datestone. Central-hallway
entry with later cross wing to rear. Sandstone ashlar and limestone rubble
to main house, brick to cross wing, Welsh slate roofs. 2 storeys, 3 bays
with single-storey wings. 6-panel door with radial fanlight in dentilled
door-case with open pediment. Left wing: sash with glazing bars. Right
wing: board door. The roofs to both wings are obscured by plain ramped
parapets with urns to angles. Sashes with glazing bars beneath channelled
wedge lintels to main house. Dentilled eaves course. Gable coping, end
stacks. Interior: open-string staircase with slender turned balusters and
ramped handrail. 6-fielded-panel doors to principal rooms. The roof was
entirely rebuilt after a severe fire in the 1970's.
