2/116 Yew Tree Cottage

GV II

House. Late C17 - early C18 with C20 renovation. Limestone rubble, pantile
roof. 3-cell direct-entry plan with left-end cell now converted to garage.
2 storeys, 2 first-floor windows. C20 stable door flanked by 16-pane sashes
all with wooden lintels. Garage door with concrete lintel to extreme left.
First floor: 2-light Yorkshire sashes breaking stepped eaves course.
Sprocketed eaves. Rebuilt end and ridge stacks. Interior: contains 3 good
tie beam trusses with carpenters' assembly marks clearly visible.
