Farmhouse. 1802 on datestone with C20 modernisation. Herringbone-tooled
sandstone with concrete pantile roof. Direct-entry plan, l½ rooms deep.
2-storey, 2-window front. C20 panelled door to right of centre, beneath
overlight blocked by datestone inscribed: "IS:1802". Ground-floor windows
are 2-light, small-pane casements; similar window to first floor right with
2-light, 12-pane horizontal-sliding sash to left. Painted herringbone-
tooled sills and lintels. Coved eaves course, returned at each end. Coped
gables and shaped kneelers. End stacks, one rebuilt. Interior: original
boxed stairs along rear wall. Plank cupboard door beneath stairs, with
butterfly and H-L hinges. Raised and fielded panelled cupboard doors over
the front door, with small butterfly hinges. First-floor doors are of 4
raised and fielded panels.
