House. Early C19 incorporating remains of an earlier house. Hammer-dressed
sandstone to front; rear and rebuilding in coursed sandstone rubble; pantile
roof. 2-storey, single-window front with single-storey lean-to to left. 2-
storey front has C20 door beneath overlight, to left of 12-pane sash;
similar window to first floor. Vertically-tooled lintels to all openings,
and stone sills to both windows. Stepped eaves course. Coped gables and
shaped kneelers. End right stack. Lean-to has C20 board door to left of
2-light, large-pane horizontal-sliding sash. Vestiges of herringbone-tooled
quoins from the earlier building are visible on the ground floor to the left
of the 2-storey front. Included for group value.
