6/14 House immediately north
of the Yews
GV II
House. Probably early C18 with additions and alterations including later
C18 heightening. Sandstone with brick stacks and pantile roof. 2 storeys,
3 first-floor windows with single-storey, 3-bay range to right. Main range:
off-centre C20 part-glazed door under flat stone arch flanked by 16-pane
sashes under tooled wedge lintels. The left bay is recessed at ground-floor
level. First-floor: 3-light Yorkshire sashes. End stacks. Range to right
has board door with casement window adjoining and a 2-light Yorkshire sash.
Further blocked opening. Swept roof.
