Park Farmhouse

Barn. Late C18, some later alterations. Sandstone rubble with slate roof,
pantiled wing to right, double Roman tiled wing to left, stone ridge. Central
wide gabled cart entry, double doors with segmental head, door with segmental head
to right and left, single storey C20 addition to right; single storey wing to
left has 2 doors, wing to right has door and C20 lean-to. Interior: 5-bay roof
has tie-beam, 2 queen-posts with braces to sides, collar and one row of purlins;
heavy lower tie-beam supporting floor in part of barn. Forms part of planned
farmyard, contemporary with Park Farmhouse (q.v.).
