House and coach-house now used for farm storage. Early C19. Limestone
ashlar and Westmorland slate. House to right, coach-house to left under one
roof. Coach-house: 6 bays, 2 storeys open to roof. House: 2 bays, 2
storeys. Coach-house: round-arched slatted openings recessed in blind
arcade with impost band. Board door with fanlight in third bay. 2-light
fixed window between bays 5 and 6. Roof hipped to left with pair of
lanterns to ridge. House: 6-panel door beneath fanlight in rusticated
round-arched doorcase flanked by 16-pane sashes. First floor: unequal 9-
pane sashes. Flat stone arches throughout. Overhanging eaves. Roof hipped
to right with corniced ridge and end stacks. Interior: coach-house has
ventilation flues leading to lanterns suggesting a former use for corn
storage.
