ST 66 SW CHELWOOD C.P. CHELWOOD VILLAGE

4/7 Church Farmhouse

G.V. II

Farmhouse. Early C19 with C20 alterations. Limestone rubble with stone
dressings, concrete double Roman tiled roof with raised coped verges and brick
gable stacks, pantiled roof to rear wing and sheltered area. T-plan. 2 storeys
and 4 windows, all 2-light multi-pane casements at first floor, three 3-light
casements at ground floor, all with segmental heads, 2nd from right, door in flat-
topped porch, lean-to with door to left. Rear has 2-light casement with segmental
head at ground and first floor left and right; single storey rear wing containing
kitchen and former cider-house has 2 doors with segmental heads to each side,
single light to each side of kitchen; sheltered area with pitched roof to right,
lean-to has door to right.
