8/98 The Post Cottage
GV II
House. Late C18 with C20 restoration. Hammer-dressed limestone,
replacement pantile roof. Entrance moved from right of front facade to
right gable end. 2 storeys, 2 first-floor windows. Replacement sash with
glazing bars beneath timber lintel to left. C20 bow window to right. First
floor: replacement sashes with glazing bars beneath timber lintels. Fire
insurance plaque to right. End stacks, that to left end rebuilt. Single-
storey range to left not of special interest. Included for group value.
