granary and cart-shed
GV II
Stables with granary above, and cart-shed to north. Late C18. Limestone
rubble, reused upper crucks, stone slate and pantile roof. Single-storey
stables with attic forming granary and lower single-storey cart-shed.
Quoins. 2 stable doors each flanked by blocked openings beneath flat
arches. Low cart-shed to right. Gable coping, shaped kneelers. Blocked
entrance to cart-shed to right gable end beneath massive cambered timber
lintel. Left gable end: stone steps to board door of granary with slatted
window to right. Interior: 4 reused crucks with collars and spurs, with
halved, pegged apexes.
