8/128 Brook House
2 cottages, now one dwelling. Late C18 with C19 alterations and additions.
Hammer-dressed limestone with Welsh slate roof. Straight joint to left of
6-panel door with divided overlight. 16-pane sashes throughout, those to
left in altered openings. Blocked central window to first floor. Wedge
lintels throughout. Right end stack and ridge stack shared with Beck
Cottage (qv). Gable coping, shaped kneeler to right. C19 extension to rear
not of special interest.
