GV II

Reading room and school dining hall. Probably mid C19 with later
alterations. Hammer-dressed limestone with Welsh slate roof, ashlar
dressings. Tall single-storey, 2-bay central range with lower, 2-bay wings.
Entrances to wings: board doors with divided overlights within plain
surrounds with stepped keystones. To outer bay of each wing a paired sash
in similar surrounds. Main range has taller paired sashes in plain
surrounds. Shaped kneelers, copings, ball finials. Wings have low parapets
and concealed, flat roofs. End stack to north wing.
