Public house. Late C18 with later alterations and additions. Limestone
rubble brought to course with ashlar dressings, pantile roof. Originally
lobby-entry plan, now altered. 2 storeys, 3 first-floor windows with
single-storey, single-bay range to left. Plinth. Off-centre 4-panel door
with overlight in doorcase with consoles supporting hood. Sashes with
glazing bars throughout with stone sills and wedge lintels with chisel
tooling, except to left range. Tripartite sash with wedge lintel and stone
sill to left range. Swept roofs. Gable coping, shaped kneelers. Ridge and
end stacks.
