2/26 The Aspins

gv II

House and attached outbuilding with loft. Dated 1728 on quoin; raised
later. Coursed squared sandy limestone and rubble limestone; quoins;
pantile roof with brick stacks. 2-storey, 3-window house front, with
2-bay outbuilding to left. C20 board house door, with 2-light, large-pane
horizontal sliding sash at left, both with timber lintels. Similar windows
at right, one of 3 lights, one of 2 lights, with flat arches. 2-light,
12-pane horizontal sliding sashes to first floor. End and centre left
stacks. Outbuilding has plank stable door to right of 2-light casement with
shutter pins in the frame.
