House and former shop, now single dwelling. Original house of 1784 (on
datestone) altered in C19. Shop C19, converted to domestic use in C20.
House: limestone with sandstone flush quoins, pantile roof and brick stacks.
Former shop: whitewashed brick in English garden wall bond, with pantile
roof. 2-storey, 2-window house front, with lower 2-storey, 2-window former
shop front at right. House has central 6-panel door beneath fanlight, in
round-arched surround with rusticated keyblock and imposts. Windows are 4-
pane sashes with triple-keyblock painted wedge lintels and painted stone
sills. First floor centre datestone inscribed:
Cavetto-moulded eaves course. Coped gables and shaped kneelers. End stack.
Former shop has C20 part-glazed door flanked by large 4-pane sashes under
continuous lintel. 4-pane sashes to first floor. Painted stone sills to
