9/56 No 5 and Elleron

GV II

Two houses. Late C18. Coursed rubble stone with dressed sandy limestone
front, pantile roofs and brick stacks. No 5 has 2-storey, 2-window front
with 1-storey, 1-window extension at left. Elleron at right has higher 2-
storey, 2-window front. No 5: Entrance at rear. All windows are 2-light,
6-pane horizontal-sliding sashes with painted stone sills. Painted tooled
lintels to main front ground floor windows. Painted timber lintels to
remaining windows. End stacks. Elleron: 4-panel door approached by flight
of steps, flanked by C20 cross windows, all with painted tooled lintels. 2-
light, 12-pane horizontal-sliding sashes with painted timber lintels to
first floor. Painted tooled sills to all windows. End stacks. Elleron
included for group value and for being one build with No 5.
