Churchyard walls and gates. 1873. By G E Street. Rusticated sandstone
walls with ashlar coping. Gateways of sandstone ashlar with timber and iron
gates. Walls: rock faced, approximately 0.8 to 0.9 metres high with sloping
coping, stepped up in places. South gateway: pointed, moulded and chamfered
opening in gabled arch, between dwarf offset buttresses. Cross finial.
Paired, open-panelled gates on wrought-iron L-hinges. North-eastern
gateway: square section piers with projecting flat caps. Gate of open,
pointed panels.
