Hawthorn Cottage
House. Late C18. Whitewashed chalk-stone with brick arches; pantile roof
and brick stacks. 2-storey, 2-window front. Off-centre board door. 2-
light, 24-pane horizontal sliding sash ground-floor windows, and similar 18-
pane windows on first floor. Painted segmental arches to ground-floor
openings. End stacks. Cottage unmodernised and without mains services at
time of resurvey. Hawthorn Cottage not of special interest.
