House. Early C17 with mid C18 alterations. Brick in English bond, plain
tile roof, brick stacks. Double pile plan beneath M-shaped roof with
service wings to rear. 2 storeys and attic, 8 bays. 6-panel half-glazed
door beneath divided overlight in fifth bay. Sashes with glazing bars
beneath flat brick arches throughout. 5 casement dormers to attics. Ridge
stacks with oversailing brick courses. 2 projecting left end stacks with
oversailing brick courses, each flanked by small C17 casements with
decorative pediments in brick. Rainwater heads dated 1726 and 1798 to left
end. Interior contains C18 wooden staircase with column-on-vase and
barleysugar balusters, and inlaid wooden landing. Original C18 panelling
