3/22 Elm Tree Farmhouse


2 houses, now 1, with extension. Early C18 with C19 extension. Brick in
English bond, pantile roof, brick stacks. Former 2-cell lobby entry house
and attached cottage, now converted to 3-cell lobby-entry plan. 2 storeys,
3 first floor windows. C20 6-fielded-panel door. To left: two 16-pane
sashes beneath brick arches, with straight joint between, and a blocked
window to extreme left. To right: C20 casement. First floor: 16-pane
sashes with blocked window to extreme left. Dentilled eaves course.
Tumbled-in gable ends. Swept roof. End and ridge stacks. C19 extension
not of special interest. Included for group considerations.
