6/24 Helmsley House Stable and
Garden Wall

GV II

Stable and garden wall to Helmsley House (qv). Late C18. Brick in
stretcher bond to stable and English bond to garden wall, pantile roof to
stable. Stable: 2 storey gable end facade facing north has 2 stable dobrs
with 2-step mounting block below 6-pane fixed window to right. First floor:
pitching door with evidence for blocking of lower half, and blocked window
to right. Dentilled eaves to sides. Garden wall: with recesses.
Approximately 3.5 metres in height, rising to left end over round-arched
opening. C19 lean-to shed at left end not of special interest. Included
for group considerations.
