4/9 Chapel Cottage, Chapel
View and part of Chapel


3 terraced cottages. Mid/late C18. Hammer dressed limestone, pantile roof,
brick stacks. Direct entry to 3 dwellings, door to right now blocked.
2 storeys, 5 first floor windows. To left: board door beneath divided
overlight flanked by C20 casements. Centre: half-glazed door with divided
overlight and C20 casement to right, both beneath a blocked carriage arch.
To right: two 2-light Yorkshire sashes, that to centre in position of
blocked doorway. First floor: blocked window flanked by C20 casements to
left, one 2-light Yorkshire sash in centre, and to right a blocked window
flanked by 2-light Yorkshire sashes. Channelled lintels throughout. Gable
coping, shaped kneelers, end and ridge stacks.
