4/11 Filmer Cottage

GV II

Formerly 3 cottages, now one dwelling. Late C18. Hammer dressed limestone,
pantile roof, brick stacks. 2 storeys, 5 first floor windows. 6-fielded-
panel door beneath C20 porch. One casement to left and 4 to right, with two
2-light Yorkshire sashes to extreme right with evidence for blocked doorways
beneath third and sixth windows. C20 casements to first floor with
Yorkshire sash to extreme right. Channelled lintels throughout. Gable
coping, shaped kneelers, ridge and end stacks. Cottage to right contains
original wide board doors with H-L hinges and stone flagged floors. To left
cottage is a rebuilt inglenook with original bressumer.
