House, now incorporated into school. c1785-90 with wings added cl802.
Limestone ashlar, Westmorland slate roof. Central hallway entry.
3 storeys, 11 bays, 3-5-3. Outer wings quoined. Round-headed half-glazed
door in Doric porch. Sashes with glazing bars in keyed stone surrounds to
ground and first floor with 2 intermediate bands, the second forms a
continuous sill to first floor windows. Second floor: 6-pane sashes in
keyed stone surrounds. Ridge and eaves stacks. Hipped roof. Pevsner N.
