Two parallel ranges of a house whose centrepiece has now disappeared, now
used as house and barn. Medieval origins suggested by chimney stack, with
main buildings of c1620-30 with C18 alterations. Limestone rubble brought
to course, stone slate roof. House: 2 storeys, 4 first floor windows.
Evidence for extensive refenestration in C18. 4-panel door flanked by 2-
light mullion window beneath hoodmould to extreme left, and 3 sash windows
with glazing bars beneath hoodmoulds. Blocked 4-light transomed mullion
window at landing level to left. First floor: sashes with glazing -bars
beneath wooden lintels with blocked 2-light mullion window beneath hoodmould
to centre. Massive stepped external stack to right. Gable coping, shaped
kneelers and ridge stacks. Original stone mullion windows to left end.
Rear wing, now barn, has blocked C17 mullion windows indicating its former
