of Rookery Farmhouse

Stable. c.1720 with later alterations. Coursed squared limestone rubble with
stone dressings, double Roman tiled roof with raised coped verges and kneelers and
finials. 3 bays and 1½ storeys, centre bay broken forward, round-headed central
door with keystone and string course running from imposts only across central bay,
round oculus above set in limestone square, gable; to each side an oval oculus
set in limestone rectangle, lean-to at left and right. Right return has 3-light
casement with ovolo-moulded mullions in gable end; continuous lean-to along rear.
Interior: not inspected. In poor condition at time of survey (December 1984).
