10/21 The Grapes Inn
Public House. Late C18 with earlier origins and later alteration. Hammer-
dressed sandstone to front, coursed sandstone rubble to sides; pantile roof;
brick stacks. 3-cell, hearth-passage plan with service wing to rear right.
2-storey, 4-window front. Right of centre C20 half-glazed door with
overlight, approached by stone steps. 16-pane sashes with stone sills
throughout. Doorway and ground floor flanking windows have raised keyblock
lintels. End and right of centre stacks.
