3/53 Glebe Farmhouse and
attached railings to
Farmhouse. Late C18 with later alteration. Dressed limestone; bordered
herringbone-tooled quoins; pantile roof; brick stacks. Central stairhall
plan, l½ rooms deep. 2-storey, symmetrical 3-window front. Central 4-panel
door beneath patterned overlight. 4-pane sashes with stone sills
throughout. Plain wedge lintels to all openings. Rear: round-headed
Gothick-glazed staircase window. Coped gables with shaped kneelers. End
stacks. Cast iron railings and garden gate to centre, with spearheads and
mace finials approximately .75 metres high on stone plinth.
