1884-6 Built by George Dawson as phase two of his redevelopment
of the Crown Hotel Estate, to a design of the late J H Hirst.
in similar style to Nos 1-3 Crown Place. 3 storeys.
2 windows. Slated hipped roof with bracketed eaves. Grit stone ashlar. Sill
bands and string at floor levels. 2 light sash windows with plain surrounds.
Ground floor with rusticated pilasters, and moulded shop window heads spring
from bracket with keys. ½ glazed house and shop doorway with fanlights. Included
for group value.
Nos 4 to 6. C19 later by George Dawson. storeys and cellars. 2 windows each.
Slated roof with bracketed eaves. Grit stone ashlar with pilaster bands between
window bays. Sill bands. Recessed sash windows; 1st floor with splayed bay
windows. Ground floor with rusticated pilasters carrying entablature. Shop windows
and doorways altered. Included for group value.

Nos 2 to 24 (even) and the royal baths form a group with the return of NO 3 Crown Place.
