Late C18 or early C19, altered. Formerly 2 cottages. 2 storeys; No 8 with early
C20 2nd floor addition. Welsh slate roof with carved bargeboards to eaves and
gable of No 8; No 9 with original stone chimney with later brick addition. Coursed
squared grit stone rubble. No 8 with early C20 pebbledash bow with 3 light sash
windows; No 8 with early C20 casement windows with leaded lights and ground floor
bow. No 8, mid C19 stucco arched doorcase with archivolt, key, panelled reveals,
fanlight and panelled door; No 9 modern doorway replacing original pedimented
doorcase. Included for group value.

Nos 7 to 12 (consec) form a group with Promenade Court, Cornwall Road and the
return of No 30 Swan Road.
