Circa 1860 by George Dawson. Semi-detached pair of villas. 2 storeys, semi-basements
2 dormers. Double-flanked with 3 windows each. Slated roof with bracketted
eaves cornice. Grit stone ashlar. 1st floor sill storey. Segmental-arched
recessed sash windows with plain surrounds: ground floor with splayed bay windows
with cornices. Doorway of No 27 with console bracketted cornice fanlight and
panelled door. Doorway of No 29 altered. Included for group value.

Nos 3 to 29 (odd) Swan Road form a group.
