Circa 1861-2 by Lockwood and Mawson. Gothic style. 6 bays. Fishtail-slated
roof with coped gables and gabled window bays. Rusticated grit stone ashlar
with strings, buttresses and pairs of gargoyles between bays. Windows with rusticated tracery and hood moulds. 5 light west window and 2 light nave windows. Arched doorway with trefoil head and receeding orders, and hood mould with ball flower terminals. Tower on south-west corner with octagonal belfry and steeple. Included for townscape value of spire.
