Mid-C18. Brown brick. Pyramidal stone slate roof with weather-vane. Two storeys.
Wood modillioned eaves cornice. Three bays: sashes with glazing bars and chanelled
stucco voussoirs. Rusticated quoins. One canted ground floor low window with
modillioned wooden cornice door with 6 fielded panels, oblong fanlight with glazing
bars, moulded surround and moulded cornice. One-storey extensions to east and west:
2 bays each. First bay has blocked round-arched carriage entrance with chanelled
stucco voussoirs. Second bay has sash with glazing bars and chanelled stucco
voussoirs, and semi-circular attic window with chanelled stucco voissoirs.
Interior. Fine staircase hall with ornamental plaster ceiling: figure of putto with
laurel sprig chain, plus clouds, surrounded by Rococo ornament at 4 corners.
Staircase has closed string, turned balusters and spiral curtail. Stone flagged floor
with black marble quarries. Late C18 chimneypiece and late C19 wainscotting ground
floor south-east room, south-west ground floor room has contemporary chimneypiece, and
plaster ceiling with egg-and-dart cornices to beams, and Rococo ornament at
