Early C18, altered. Brown brick. Slate roof. Three storeys. Brick modillioned
eaves cornice. Moulded band, rendered over. Four bays, of which one breaks forward
slightly: segment-headed sashes, apparently C19. One first floor canted wooden oriel
with angle pilasters, moulded cornice and fretwork valance. Mid C19 shopfront with
scrolled consoles taking panelled dies to moulded cornice: glazing bars with tiny
capitals and moulded ornament in spandrels. Mid C19 door with 6 fielded panels, and
blocked semi-circular fanlight with glazing bars: surround with panelled pilasters and
scrolled consoles to moulded cornice: one window with similar surround.

Interior. Contemporary staircase with moulded handrail, moulded closed string, and
slender balusters. Ground floor has moulded plaster cornices to joists of early C18
date, with more mid C19 plaster ornament on soffits of joists.
