The Farmhouse

II


Former farmhouse and cottage, now disused. Early C18. Pinkish-brown local brick,
rendered front. Stepped and dentilled eaves. Tumbled-in brickwork to gable.
High-pitched swept pantile roof with stacks to end and off-centre. Raised brick
verges. 2 storeys, 3 bays. 3 late C19 canted bays with bracketed cornices and sash
windows. One half-glazed and one 4-panel door with oblong fanlights. C19 sashes to
1st floor in flush wood architraves.
