Former Manor House, now in dual ownership. C18. Sandstone and brick. Reddish-brown
local brick front with stone plinth and quoins. Bands have been removed from
1st floor level and eaves revealing remains of splayed stone lintels and keystones.
Welsh slate roof. Modern chimneys to gable end and ridge. 2 storeys, 5 bays.
Patches of rebuilding suggest different original window arrangement. To centre a
modern half-glazed door flanked by 2 windows and surmounted by a large flat hood. An
additional C20 half glazed door with oblong fanlight to Manor Cottage. Sash window
with glazing bars in flush wood architraves. Important position in village and group
value with the church.
