Wall and gate. 1856-58. By William Butterfield. Snecked stone with
4 courses of red brick above, stone coping and buttresses. Wooden gate.
Wall: overall height 1.2 metres at lych gate, stepping down to
approximately 1 metre at junction with cottage wall to left. Stone
buttresses at intervals along road frontage. Gate: overall height
1.1 metres. Long and short vertical bars, tops finished with hollow
chamfers. Strap hinges with trefoil ends, iron handle and latch. In
poor condition. Included for group considerations.
