House. C16 with mid-C18 and C19 alterations. Stone with brick entrance
range, roughcast covered. Stone slate roofs. Unequal U-plan with
entrance range inserted between wings. 2 storeys, with single storey
entrance range, 3 bay centre with 2 bay projecting wings. Entrance
range: 6-panel door to left under radial fanlight. Round-arched sashes
with radial glazing to heads, all openings in round-arched recesses.
Square unequally hung sashes with glazing bars above. Left and right
wings: tall, narrow unequally hung sashes with glazing bars. Hipped
roof and large stacks to wings, smaller stack to main range. Interior:
C16 wall paintings in north wing were plastered over 1970.
Outbuildings attached to south-west corner not of special interest.
