House and attached barn, now outbuilding. Late C17 with C20 alterations.
Coursed rubble and ashlar. Graduated stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays,
second bay of house ashlar. Former barn to right, left portion incorporated
into house. House: round-headed C17 stud and board door to right of centre,
with flanking plinths and pilasters and entablature over. 2-light mullion
windows with side-sliding sashes with glazing bars. Square double-chamfered
window above door. Continuous string-course at first-floor level, shaped
kneelers, gable coping. Corniced stacks centre and to right. Additional bay
to right has large C20 bay window to ground floor and 2 C20 windows to first
floor. Corniced stack to right. Interior: a timber post visible in the
rear corner of room to left, first-floor. There is also some timber visible
in the first-floor rooms under the eaves, possibly remains of a wall-plate.
