Cottage ornée. Late C18-early C19. C20 rendering, stone slate roof.
One storey with attics. 2 bays with one bay extension to rear (left) and
outshut to rear (right). Quoins. Central board door with fluted shell-
motif to upper part and shallow pointed arch. Small square window above,
and a gabled porch with cusped barge boards. Flanking canted-bay windows
with shallow hipped roofs. Stack with 3 shafts and tall red chimney pots
behind ridge to left, similar 2-flue chimney at right gable end. Left
return has 4-pane cross-window to ground floor and a small attic window
above. Ornate cusped barge boards at left and right gable ends. There are
similarities between this building and West Lodge (q.v.).
