3/17 Gate-piers and gate
approximately 25 metres
south west of The Mansion

GV II

Gate-piers and gate. Late C19. Wrought iron. Approximately 1.5 metres
high, with square-section piers and a single wide gate. Piers composed of
openwork design, with St. Andrews crosses and geometric panels. Shallow
pyramidal caps. Gate has 7 rails and is strengthened by straps in the shape
of 2 St. Andrews crosses, having roundels in the form of a rose. The top
bar carries 2 decorative wrought-iron scrolls. Included for group value.
