railings to front

II

House. Late C18. Roughcast brick, pantile roof. Iron railings.
2 storeys, 3 bays. Central door with 6 fielded panels and fanlight in
doorcase of pilasters and open pediment with panelled soffit. Sashes with
glazing bars in flush wood architraves and painted stone sills. String
course at first-floor level. Dentilled eaves cornice. Brick gable coping
and stone kneelers. End stacks. Later parallel range to rear. Railings
enclosing semicircular forecourt have plain pointed bars and gate with
thicker iron piers with bulbous finials.
