House. 1796 and later. Coursed squared sandstone with extension, right, in
grey gritstone. Westmorland slate roof. 2 storeys, 2 bays with 1-storey,
1-bay extension to right. Quoins to house. Central door with classical
surround, all C20. 16-pane sash windows with flush wood architraves,
chanelled lintels and stone sills throughout. The window to left of the
door is in the blocked original entrance. The date 1796 is carved on the
lintel. Shaped kneelers, ashlar coping, end stacks with projecting band.
