GV II

Barn. Late C18. Red brick, English bond, C20 pantile roof. Of 7 bays,
with the east gable facing onto the street. 3 narrow ventilators below; a
diamond pattern of ventilators in a square recess flanked by hour-glass
ventilator pattern above. High opposing cart entrances, C20 doors, in
centre of north and south sides, with cambered brick arches. Hour glass
pattern of ventilators repeated. Hipped roof. This building is balanced on
the south side of the house by a similar building, possibly cow house with
granary over (q.v.).
