Linen mill, now houses. Late C18 converted to houses c1810, C20
restoration. Coursed square gritstone, pantile roof. 3 storeys, 5 bays,
the 5th bay set back (No 10, Holly House). Nos 2 and 4 each have a 6-panel
door with fanlight, panelled reveals and doorcase with consoles supporting
cornice. Nos 6 and 8 have C20 door and restaurant windows; the remaining
windows are sashes with glazing bars, restored C20. Bay window to first
floor left, with wrought-iron balustrade over. No 10 (left): 6-panel door
with overlight, plain door case with consoles and cornice. 4-pane sashes.
All ground and first-floor windows have plain lintels. Ridge stack to each
dwelling.
